"We'd like to take our photos amongst the trees and along the lake!" You got it! Normally a February in Duluth is filled with snow, but this winter we have found it to be the complete opposite! One of my favorite trails in Duluth is closed to walking/hiking in the winter due to the groomed cross country ski trails, but because we have had such little snow this season I was able to take Mary and Nate to this perfect spot! The sun was just about to set below the horizon causing the most beautiful peaks of light behind the trees. Afterwards we headed to Lake Superior and the cold winter wind was strong, but this couple decided to push through! The beach was empty because of the weather - causing the most private space! Duluth, Minnesota really is such a beautiful and quaint little lake town! This maternity session reminded me  of how honored I am to be a photographer! These photos are some of the last they'll have before their family becomes a family of three!
